Welcome to Front Load Washer Reviews

At Front Load Washer Reviews we look at the latest front load washer models and give them a fair review based on specific criteria, such as cost, and we then weigh up the pros and cons for you. Finally we search the web to find the best prices possible for the models we look at. We think front load washers are superior to their top loading relatives in every way, but especially economically as they use around 2/3s less water.
About Front Load Washer Reviews
In the not too distant past most people went to a laundromat to do their clothes washing. Laundromats were packed full of top loading washers. As times went on two things happened: people could get a home washer at a reasonable cost, and people became (and are still becoming) more energy conscious. This is no surprise really considering the rising costs of electricity and water usage and the effect over consumption of natural sources is having on the planet. These conditions gave rise to the front load washers. Front load washers are much more economical than top load washers were water was required to fully cover all the clothes in the machine for it to operate correctly. For that much water you can use a from load washer three times! Front load washers are a lot cheaper to run, require much less water and are better for the planet and the result is it is actually become quite rare to see a top load washer.
Another reasons why front load washers are so popular is because of the space they save. You can actually put things on top of your front load washer – such as a dryer! You cannot stack ontop of a top load machine. Front load washers can also have a built in dryer which saves room and is hugely convenient, although they are well known to not be quite as effective as a separate dryer.
Front load washers are also much kinder on your clothes than top loading machines as there are less agitators to affect them. The only thing, in my opinion, that top load washers have going for them is their price as the initial price is usually a bit lower. However, even this is not a real advantage as after a year of usage you will have regained the cost difference and everything after will be profit (well, kind of !). You could argue that it is handy being able to pull out clothes mid wash, or add to the load mid wash and you can not do with with front load washer models. I do not really see this as a problem and in fact it can be very dangerous to put your hand in a mid cycle wash as it might well be using boiling water.
If room, cost, energy conservation and efficiency and looks are anything to consider, then reading the best reviews is the right thing to do.
